Community Events

Dr. Alexander and the staff at the Whole Life Health Center volunteer their time to provide lectures, workshops, and a variety of health screenings as a community service to promote and expand the knowledge of natural ways to achieve health and wellness

The Whole Life Center is part of a grassroots effort to promote wellness in our local community.  With the rising cost of healthcare and the many complications of preventable diseases, including taking medications with potentially serious and dangerous side effects, the general public has a thirst for knowledge on how to stay healthy instead of waiting to address their health after they are ill.

The traditional medical model in use today is to treat and cure disease once it has occurred.  As disease will always be a part of the human condition, there is certainly an ongoing need for this intervention. However, there are many health issues that people can avoid or control through lifestyle choices and natural remedies.

From Bossar Group, LLC (conducted numerous Lunch n Learns) –  I have received positive comments about your staffs’ teaching style, energy and dedication from our senior executive who supports the various segments of our employee Lunch n Learn program.  The Whole Life Health Center has been an invaluable asset in our efforts these last six months, and I would recommend them to anyone who values these qualities.

From Guardian Home Care & Hospice (conducted “Stress Control Lecture”) -  Thank you again, Dr. Alexander and the Whole Life Health Center, for taking the time to speak to our clinical team on “Stress Control”.  As nurses and therapists who provide homecare services throughout Gwinnett County, we all could certainly use a great reminder on the importance of adequate sleep, balanced nutrition, exercise and meditation.

From UPS (conducted “Reducing Lifting Injuries Presentation”) –  Odette, I cannot express how much your team was appreciated at our October Facility Health and Safety Meeting.  So much positive feedback from employees on information that was provided to us. I will be reaching out to you very soon to assist in the near future.

From Gwinnett County Public Library (conducted “Stress Control Presentation”) –  On behalf of GCPL we want to express our deep appreciation for the help and support you have offered during the recent GCPL Staff Day.  We feel very grateful to you for taking time out of your busy schedule to answer many questions and aid in hosting.  With this being the first staff day since 2008, I doubt we would have been able to complete the event in such an interactive and productive manner without your help.  Thank you once again for your assistance and all that you do. We are looking forward to working with you all in the future.

From Christ the Lord Church (conducted “Nutrition Guidelines Presentation”) -  Many thanks to each one of you for giving up your time and energy to participate in our inaugural health fair. While the foot traffic may have been light, I heard nothing but positive reviews of the offerings, both at informational tables and in the presentations.

From Georgia Baptist Convention (conducted “Arthritis Presentation”)  - We too are grateful for you all being with us. The employees enjoyed this and gained much from Dr. Alexander’s presentation. I look forward to seeing you all again.
